the size me fit me pretty good, as someone who’s bustier and have a bit more of a wider hip area (approx 190-200lbs), I was worried the size of the dress would be too small, however I did upsize as I’m usually a L/XL but I decided to order XXL and it fit good around the stomach/hip area, and there was even room in the chest area to make modifications. You’ll definitely need a petticoat if you’re around 4’11-5’3 (I’m 5’2) because it is a bit longer (which is good, again if you need a petticoat). The only eh, is that the arm areas are a bit tight, but nothing incredibly unbearable, and that the clothes do smell like factory fabric. Overall though for the price, how quick it came, and how it looked I was impressed and I would, if I ever wanted/needed to, order again (I’d I can edit this post I’ll add a pic)

I took the recommendation of other reviews and got a size larger than I thought I should. It was perfect. While the dress was large and roomy the lacing made it easy to adjust it to my size, and as you can see from the pictures it fit perfectly. I saw at least two other women at the event that I was attending with the same dress in different colors (no hoop skirt beneath) and they also looked OK, but they didn’t wear the neck choker and I think it really made a difference in the look. I thought the dress was a good value for the money, especially because I can’t imagine I will be wearing it very often! This was a one time deal and for a one time wearing, it was a great value.

I wore this dress for a performance of Edgar Allan Poe poetry. It was absolutely perfect. The dress also fits very well over any hoop wire underskirt. I got the hoop underskirt here on Amazon. The dress was very impressive to everyone there! I wear a size Small, and this size Small that I got fits me well. I think the price is very reasonable, compared to other similar period dresses.

This dress is really great for what you're paying! It looks great and has lasted through several events so far. It's lightweight and ready to put on, and I was very happy with the look! Be aware that you'll need a crinoline skirt or something similar to get the pouf in the skirt. There's also a zipper on the side so that you can get it on and off. Be carful to not pull too hard on the lacing on the back as the loops aren't particularly strong (I accidentally sat on the end of mine and had to fix the loops I ripped)

Perfect Dress for our Bridgerton Tea Event! 4 of us ladies ordered this dress in each color and 4 different sizes and they all fit perfectly by using their size chart. We were all pleased with the quality of the fabric as it didn’t look or feel like a cheap Halloween-type costume. We wore with a 6-bone hoop, tall blonde wig, & a large hair/hat clip, all purchased from Amazon. We were the hit of the tea party. If you order this dress according to their size chart - including length & bust, you will not be disappointed. It was a GREAT buy! I typically wear a large and purchased this dress in XL.

I really love this dress over all. My main issue is the sleeves. They are puffy in a weird way and I definitely have to play with folding it or pinning it to make it look better. I'm a size 15 and got the 2x thought about getting Xl but the other areas fit so perfectly I was scared to size down and then have it not work out for what I need it for. Also the collar part was loose but I just wore a necklace. Overall though I think it's an amazing dress for the price.

Just what I needed for my vampire costume! I got so many compliments for Halloween with this dress! It’s exactly what I envisioned for a gothic Victorian vampire. The quality is slightly better than what I would expect for costume wear or getting something from Spirit. Please please size up at least one or two sizes. I’m usually a small/medium, so I ordered a medium and I could barely get it past my chest. So I ordered a large and it fit better, but there seems to be a big jump between the M and L so some areas of the dress like the arms and waist ended up being a little loose. The tie in the back can help you adjust, however. I do recommend a petticoat just because it really accentuated the shape of the dress, and I’m short so it helped lift it so I was able to walk around comfortably
